We empower youth to channel their energy and ambition to reach their full potential, all while preserving their love and joy for the game.

Sporting United Football Club was established in 2022 as a merger between United FC (est. 1996) and Sporting Michigan (est. 2010). The founders of both clubs previously played professional soccer together at the same club in Michigan before establishing their own youth soccer clubs. The merger aimed to unite two like-minded organizations and create a female-focused soccer club to grow the sport in their local communities while competing at regional and national levels.

In the first year of the merger, 2022-2023, our goal was to bring all players under the same umbrella, establish our core values, and use the year to integrate players, families, and staff. In the 2023-2024 season, we have organized all players into level-appropriate teams and formed competitive squads that can compete at state, regional, and national levels suited to their abilities.

MISSION

Sporting United FC is a female-specific youth soccer program designed with the female athlete in mind. We strive to provide our players with a unique soccer experience that focuses on developing the person, not just the player. This is achieved through the culture and programming created by our leadership team, directors, coaches, players, and their families.

VALUES

PASSION & AMBITION-   We provide youth the opportunity to forge the energy and hunger to be the best they can be, but never at the cost for the love and joy of the game.

UNITY-   United as players, parents, coaches, and community.

HUMILITY- Win or lose, every player knows how to accept either outcome with class because of the understanding and duty to respect everyone in the game.

COMMUNITY- SUFC values every member of the club, from player to parent to coach. By creating a family environment, we are able to enrich lives.
